If you’re on Carte, chances are you’re looking to thoughtfully fill your home with beautiful, ethically made products. There are many brands that not only create sustainable products, but they also dedicate a portion of their profits to a cause they deeply care about. For online home goods company, The Citizenry, giving back happens via entrepreneurial grants for their global network of artisans, while L.A.-based textile brand, Block Shop, distributes 5% of annual profits into community health and empowerment in Jaipur, India.

Here, we’ve shared some of our favorite socially responsible brands that give back with each purchase made —

Armadillo & Co

Armadillo & Co cares about more than just creating beautiful rugs. They are committed to sustainability, Fair Trade and social responsibility. Their high quality, handcrafted rugs are made by local artisans using traditional weaving techniques their families have practiced for generations. The Armadillo & Co Foundation was founded in 2017 with its sole mission and purpose to enhance and improve the lives of underprivileged communities through the provision of educational, health and community structures. A portion of profits from Armadillo & Co sales is donated to The Armadillo & Co Foundation.
